Coronation Bridge: Fact guide

West Bengal’s Siliguri is home to the Coronation Bridge. Due to its location along the Teesta River, near Sevoke, it is also known as the Sevoke Bridge. Spanning between Siliguri and Darjeeling, the Coronation Bridge connects the northeastern Indian states with the rest of the nation. The bridge is located roughly 15 km from Siliguri. With a length of 698 foot and a height of 114 foot, the steel arch bridge has two lanes open to both  motorists and pedestrians.

By air: The Bagdogra Airport is around 30 km from the bridge.

By rail: The New Jalpaiguri Railway Station is around 10 km from the bridge.

By road: Through a network of roadways, Siliguri is well connected to other regions of the nation. National Highway 10, which links Siliguri with other major cities in the area, passes over the bridge.
