DDA launches Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana 2025, offering 1k affordable flats

September 12, 2025: In a move that will benefit the low-income families, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched the ‘Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana 2025’. A total of 1, 172 affordable flats will be offered under this scheme, which will cater to the economically weaker sections (EWS) and Janta category applicants. These flats will be located in different parts of Outer Delhi.

Registration for the scheme started from September 11, 2025, while the booking process began from September 22, 2025. Interested buyers can apply for the scheme, which will remain open until December 21, 2025. These flats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis (FCFS).

Following the success of the Phase 1, the DDA has launched Phase 2 of the Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana 2025. The scheme offers an additional 1,537 LIG and EWS flats in the price range of Rs 11.8 lakh to Rs 32.7 lakh across Delhi’s prime locations. The registration for the scheme will begin on November 7, 2025, at 12 PM. The scheme will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Flats under the EWS category will be available in Narela, Rohini, Ramgarh Colony and Shivaji Marg. The LIG category flats will be available in Rohini Sector 34, Sector 35 and Ramgarh Colony. Who can apply for DDA Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana 2025?

Any Indian citizen with a minimum 18 years of age can apply for the scheme if they fulfil the DDA’s eligibility criteria as specified in the brochure. There will be no restrictions regarding owning any land/built-up property in Delhi. According to the eligibility criteria mentioned by DDA, the family income of the applicant and joint/co-applicant must not exceed Rs 10 lakh per annum, if both families are considered separately.

How to apply for DDA Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana 2025?

• Interested buyers must visit the DDA website https://eservices.dda.org.in/ and register themselves for the DDA Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana 2025.
• Click on the housing scheme link and click on ‘apply here’ to proceed.
• A refundable amount of Rs 2,500 (inclusive of GST) must be paid online.
• Before submitting the application form, the applicant should check all the relevant details of the flats such as size, location price, layout, price, etc. They will have a choice to book a specific flat on a ‘First Come First Serve’ basis.

A one-time registration fee of Rs 2,500 will be applicable. The booking amount for DDA Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana Phase 2 flats is:

• EWS flats: Rs 50,000
• LIG flats: Rs 1 lakh
