Post-secondary students within Jharkhand may apply for scholarships via the government’s Welfare Department’s Post Matric Scholarship Schemes. Jharkhand e Kalyan Portal is where all students in the state of Jharkhand may go to apply for the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme. 

A scholarship is available through the Jharkhand Post Matric Scholarship Scheme / Jharkhand Matric Scholarship Scheme for students attending schools in Jharkhand. Students from Jharkhand’s SC, ST, and BC communities are eligible for scholarships under this program.

Students in Jharkhand who are at least 10 years removed from their matriculation can use the e Kalyan Jharkhand Portal to submit an online application for higher education.

 

E Kalyan Jharkhand Scholarship: Eligibility

  • Students must be permanent residents of Jharkhand state in order to be considered for admission.
  • The student must demonstrate that they are a member of a socially and economically disadvantaged group, such as an ST, SC, or BC (OBC).
  • The total yearly household income of the student’s parents, including all income sources, must be below Rs 2,50,000 for SC and ST students and below Rs 1,50,000 for OBC students.

Scholarships are granted to all students in Class 1 through Class 10 via the E Kalyan Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme, which is run by the government of Jharkhand.

E Kalyan Jharkhand Scholarship: Application procedure

  • To begin, please go to the e-Kalyan website at https://ekalyan.cgg.gov.in/.
  • If this is your first time applying, you should start by visiting the Scholarship Registrations link. Once there, you should fill out the form that opens and print it out.
  • If you have already applied and are reapplying, you may access your application information by clicking the Student Login link, logging in with your Username and Password, and then filling out and printing the application. 
  • Sign yourself and your guardian by pasting your photo in the printout taken and uploading that print and all the documents mentioned above. 
  • If you have forgotten your Username and Password, then you can know your Username and Password by clicking on the Forget Password link and entering your name, father’s name, and date of birth.) 
  • You have successfully submitted your application for the E Kalyan Scholarship.
