Embassy Services introduces ESG framework for real estate operations

Embassy Services Private Limited (ESPL) has introduced the ESGRO framework focusing on sustainability in real estate operations.

Embassy Services Private Limited (ESPL), the property management subsidiary of Embassy Group, has announced a framework for Environmental, Social and Governance for Real Estate Operations (ESGRO). The new approach will help facilitate real estate operations (Integrated Facilities Management) in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

According to ESPL, the company will support its clients in meeting their ESG goals and focus on the operational aspects of real estate management through this framework. The ESGRO framework will be as per the evolving ESG policies of companies to assess their operational goals and priorities. It addresses environmental performance and climate change, focusing on water stewardship, energy management, and waste management. Further, the framework will support the organisation’s social and governance aspects of social equity, training and development, health and safety, wellbeing, employee engagement, CSR, supply-chain performance, risk management, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

ESGRO adheres to global sustainability standards and is committed to monitoring, improving, and auditing policies that support ESG for the real estate sector. According to organisation, as India aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2070, the ESGRO framework will deploy quality practices and processes to help clients develop, maintain, and accelerate operational mechanisms across their real estate infrastructure.
