October 19, 2023: The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) began an e-auction for 49 properties across various sectors of Mohali on October 15, 2023 at 9 AM, according to media reports. The e-auction will conclude on October 30, 2023 at 1 PM. The authority has decided to e-auction sites for group housing, schools, commercial plots and other properties such as SCOs, SCFs and booths.
The move aims to allow interested applicants to place a bid for the property of their choice in the festive season. As per reports, all the properties offered through the e-auction are situated in already-developed sectors or urban estates under the jurisdiction of the GMADA. These properties will be allotted at only 10% payment of the final bid price.
Further, the possession of the sites will be handed over to the allottees upon a deposit of 25% payment of the bidding amount.
According to the official GMADA website, the authority offers three group housing sites starting from Rs 134.24 crore, six commercial chunk sites starting from Rs 46.94 crore, two school sites starting from Rs 17.74 crore and 38 SCO/SCF and booths starting from Rs 47.81 lakh.
How to participate in the GMADA e-auction?
Interested bidders can place a bid in the e-auction online through the official portal of the authority. One should visit the e-auction portal https://puda.e-auctions.in and register themselves by providing relevant details. Bidders are also required to pay the refundable/adjustable earnest money online.
Details about the properties, such as location, size and payment schedule, will be accessible from the portal. Prospective buyers can also write to the helpdesk at helpdesk@gmada.gov.in.
