Google rents data centre space in Navi Mumbai MIDC

The monthly rent for the 3.81 lakh sq ft of data centre space will be Rs 8.83 crore

Amanthin Info Parks Private Limited and Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) Navi Mumbai have leased 3.81 lakh sqft of data centre space for 28 years to Raiden Infotech India Private Limited, a Google company, for a monthly rent of Rs 8.83 crore, mention documents accessed by CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm.  According to the escalation clause in the agreement, there will be a rent escalation of 1.75% annually.

The agreement has been signed between Amanthin Info Parks (licensor), MIDC (which has leased the land to the licensor) and Raiden Infotech. Amanthin Info Parks is a joint venture between Everstone Group and Yondr Group, a data centre company.

To be completed by 2025, the data centre will be a property with eight floors and include basement and roof.
