In other states, the circle rate is also known as ready reckoner rate, collector rate, and district collector rate. States governments have the right to periodically revise (increasing or decreasing the rate) the circle rate to keep it close to the market value of the property.

How to check the circle rate in Bangalore’s Bannerghatta Road?
Step 1: Visit the Kaveri Online Services portal.
Step 2: To know about your property valuation, click on ‘Know Your Property Valuation’ on the home screen.
Step 3: The new page that opens will require you to fill in details like district, area, property usage, property type, and measurement unit. After filling in all details, hit ‘display valuation’ button.
Step 4: You will see the record of property valuation on the screen.
Step 5: Select the property type again to get a final valuation for your property based on circle rates.

How to calculate the stamp duty, and registration fee?
Step 1: To do this, click on ‘Stamp Duty & Registration Fee Calculator’ on the Kaveri homepage, as shown in the image below.
Step 2: A new page will open that would ask you to select from various options — ‘Nature of Document’. Once you select your option from the dropdown menu, hit on ‘Show Details’.
Step 3: After doing this, the page will ask you to fill in additional details like the region of the property, the market value of the property and the consideration amount. After filling in all details, hit ‘Calculate’. The stamp duty and registration charges for the property transaction would be visible on your screen as shown in the picture below.
