Medhavi scholarship: Eligibility criteria

  • Eligible applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 40.
  • The minimum educational requirement for applicants is a high school diploma or its equivalent from a state or nationally recognised board.
  • Class X is the minimum requirement. Therefore, individuals who completed Class XII completed post-graduate work, or earned any other degree or credential beyond a high school diploma are welcome to apply.
  • To be eligible for citizenship, a candidate must either meet the following requirements:
  1. A person who is an Indian citizen.
  2. A Bhutanese, Nepalese, or Tibetan refugee who entered India before January 1, 1962, with the intent to live permanently and for whom the Indian government has granted a certificate of eligibility.
  3. Indian nationals who have moved to East African nations like Kenya, The United Republic of Tanzania (previously Tanganyika and Zanzibar),  Uganda, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, and Vietnam are eligible for a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Medhavi scholarship: Things to consider 

  • The scholarship test is taken online. Therefore you won’t be able to take calls at that time. For the time being, the call divert function should be used to prevent the potential disqualifying conflict during the test.
  • The use of any other applications other than the Medhavi App is strictly prohibited during the test duration.
  • Using the back feature during the test is prohibited and might lead to elimination from further consideration.
  • A negative marking of one-third for each incorrect response is included in the examination design; thus, you must make a mental note of this information before taking the test.
  • The test is broken up into four parts, with two sections consisting of 11 questions and two other sections consisting of 9 questions. Therefore it is in your best interest to practise managing your time well.
  • If you want to do well on the exam, answering questions from every area is best.
