Students can check the status of their UP scholarship online by following this step-wise guide.

To encourage academically-inclined students, the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government provides financial assistance through the UP scholarship scheme. Starting from Class 9, students enrolled in state government and state government-aided educational institutions can apply for financial assistance under the UP scholarship scheme each year.

Those who have applied for the scheme can check the status by following the below-mentioned steps.

Step 1: Go to the UP scholarship official website.

Step 3: Enter your bank name and account number and enter the verification code visible on your computer screen.

Eligibility for the UP scholarships

Before you register, check if you are eligible to apply for the UP scholarship. 

  • Pre-matric scholarship for ST/SC/general category
    • Students of Classes 9 and 10 can apply
    • Annual income of the family should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh
  • Post-matric intermediate scholarship for ST/SC/general category
    • Students of Classes 11 and 12 can apply
    • Annual income of the family should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh for the general category and Rs.5 lakh for SC/ST category
  • Post-matric scholarship for ST/SC/general category
    • Students in graduation, post-graduation, PhD can apply
    • Annual income of the family should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh for the general category and Rs.5 lakh for SC/ST category
  • Post-matric other state scholarship For ST/SC/general category
    • Students of Class 11 and above can apply
    • Annual income of the family should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh for the general category and Rs.5 lakh for SC/ST category
  • Pre-matric scholarship for minorities
    • Students of Classes 9 and 10 from minority communities can apply
    • Annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 1. lakh
  • Post-matric intermediate scholarship for minorities
    • Students of Classes 11 and 12 can apply
    • Annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 2. lakh
  • Post-matric (other than intermediate) scholarship for minorities
    • Students in graduation, post-graduation, PhD, etc. can apply
    • Annual income of the family should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh

    • Students of Classes 9 and 10 can apply
