How to download CCC certificate?

The CCC certificate certifies than an individual has a working knowledge of computer science fundamentals

Computers are used for everything nowadays, from simple administrative tasks like data entry to highly complicated research-based professions like data science.  In any case, every individual needs to have a working knowledge of computer science fundamentals. Consequently, the CCC certification is an effort by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) to satisfy this need.

What is a CCC certificate?

Course on Computer Concepts, also known by its acronym CCC, is a computer literacy program aimed at providing individuals from the general public with essential information technology expertise. The CCC examination is administered by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), which also bestows certificates of completion on successful applicants.

CCC eligibility criteria

Anyone who is qualified and has an interest in pursuing CCC may submit an application. There are no educational or age prerequisites. The applicants may choose to take the CCC examination in any of three different formats. The following are the prerequisites for participating in these modes:

  • Direct applicants

These are self-sponsored candidates. Candidates meeting these criteria are eligible regardless of their ages or level of education.

  • Candidates from institutions recognised by the government

These applicants have earned their one-of-a-kind identification number from NIELIT, and the government approves the educational institutions that are sponsoring them.

  • Candidates from institutions accredited by NIELIT

These individuals are eligible to join regardless of their age or level of education.

 

CCC application process

The CCC application procedure may be completed in its entirety online. To register, interested prospective applicants might follow the steps outlined below.

  • Go to http://student.nielit.gov.in/, which is the official site for registration.
  • Go to the “Apply online” tab on the main menu.

 

  • In this section, applicants may peruse a catalogue of offered courses, among which CCC figures prominently.
  • Go through the registration process by choosing CCC.
  • You’ll be presented with a web page where you have to check the terms and conditions tab and click on the proceed button. 

  • In the next step, You’ll see the registration form, where you have to fill in all the necessary details and click the submit button at the bottom.
  • Candidates will get their registration confirmation after the application fee has been paid and the candidate’s application has been submitted.

 

CCC application fee

The application fee is Rs 500, and each and every applicant is required to pay it. Note that GST is not included in the application fee; candidates are responsible for paying this tax and the application fee. The following are the online payment options available to candidates for the application fee:

  • Netbanking
  • Credit card
  • Debit card
  • NEFT

 

CCC admit card

Candidates who have properly registered themselves will be able to download their admit card in sufficient time before the start of their examinations. Candidates may achieve this by following the method outlined in the following steps:

  • You may get all the information you need as a NIELIT student on the official portal page here: https://student.nielit.gov.in/.
  • A message indicating that the admit card  is now available will be shown. You’ll have to wait for a few days if it is unavailable. 
  • In the IT Literacy program, choose the appropriate course (CCC)
  • After that, applicants will be asked to input their application number.
  • After that, applicants may access their admission cards online.

Candidates are expected to provide a photocopy of their identification evidence to the test hall, and the admit card, which the examination centre issues. If you fail to comply with these requirements, you will not be permitted to take the examination. The applicable identity proof includes the following. 

  1. PAN Card
  2. Aadhar Card
  3. Voter ID
  4. Driving licence
  5. Passport
  6. Bank Passbook
  7. Government ID Card
  8. Educational institution ID Card

 

CCC grading

The outcome of the CCC will be conveyed via the use of a grading system. The results are usually announced no later than 15 days after the test. The following is a description of each grade and its associated meaning:

>85% S
75%-84% A
65%-74% B
55%-64% C
50%-54% D
<50% F – (FAIL)

It is clear from the table that applicants need to get a score of at least fifty percent or higher to be awarded their CCC certificate.

 

CCC certificate download 

The following is a detailed description of how to download the NIELIT CCC Certificate step by step:

  • Visit NIELIT’s official website at nielit.gov.in.
  • Track down the e-certificate download link

  • Click on the link. 
  • Clicking this option will take you directly to the Digital Certificate download page.
  • Choose the preferred option – Regular Certificate or Modular Certificate
  • Enter the needed information – Provided below are the information fields required to receive an e- certificate.

  • After providing all the information, click submit to proceed to the verification process. 

 

SMS/email verification process 

After submitting the aforementioned details, it is time to verify the details you have provided.

  1. Select the preferred method of receiving the verification code (email ID or SMS) under the Verification Procedure. 
  2. Just type in your 10-digit phone number or email address.
  3. You will get a verification code through the specified mobile number or email address.
  4. Simply type in the One-Time Password (OTP) and hit the submit button.
  5. An electronic copy of the CCC certificate will be displayed. Please save a copy of your e-certificate that you have downloaded and printed for your records.

 

How to verify the CCC certificate? 

The NIELIT offers a tool for verifying and cross-checking all the details you have submitted. Follow these easy procedures to confirm your NIELIT exam certificate details:

  • Follow this link to access the verification page directly. 
  • Provide the SI Number, roll number, and captcha code.
  • Check the specifics.

 

Signature validation

The following procedures must be followed to authenticate the signature on the NIELIT E-Certificate for the CCC course.

  1. Internet Explorer users may store the Certificate PDF after downloading it.
  2. Then, open the PDF document and use your right mouse button to click the question mark next to “Validity Unknown.”
  3. Select “Show Signature Properties” from the menu that appears.
  4. Select Trust and then the “Show Signer’s Certificate” button.
  5. Followed by clicking OK, choose “Add to the Trusted Identities.”
  6. Click the “OK” button after checking the appropriate boxes in the New Window.
  7. Validate the signature, then hit the “X” to exit.
  8. A verifiable Green Check mark will appear next to the signature.

What exactly is a CCC Certificate?

The goal of the CCC program, which is known as computer literacy, is to teach the general population the basics of information technology. Only those who pass the CCC test are awarded the corresponding certificate.

How much schooling do you need to get into CCC?

CCC does not have a necessary minimum education level. In addition, the application has no age restrictions, either minimum or maximum.
