Macleods promoters invest in Rs 101 crore bungalow in JVPD scheme

According to Indextap.com, a stamp duty of Rs 6.06 crore was paid.

February 29, 2024: Pharmaceutical company Macleods’ promoters Giridhari Lal Bawri, Rajendra Agarwal and Banwari Lal Bawri have invested Rs 101 crore in a bungalow spread over 3,600 sqft and land on which it is constructed, mention documents accessed by Indextap.com. The property is located in the JVPD scheme, Vile Parle.

According to Indextap.com, the deal was registered on February 16, 2024, and a stamp duty of Rs 6.06 crore was paid. Also, as the value of the property is more than Rs 30 lakh, as per the Maharashtra Stamp Act, a registration fee of Rs 30,000 was paid.

The JVPD scheme in Vile Parle is one of the prime residential areas. Many celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Ekta Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Anil Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, etc., reside in the JVPD Scheme area.
