Actor Madhuri Dixit-Nene has bought a Rs 48 crore luxury in Mumbai’s upscale Worli locality. The sea-view apartment is in part of the Indiabulls Blu housing project. At Rs 90,000 per square foot, the property deal has made it to one of the biggest flat purchase deals this year so far.
Part of Tower C in the housing project, the unit the Tezaab-fame actor has bought is located on the 53rd floor, spread across 5,384 square foot. The sea-view flat comes along with 7 car parking spaces. Media reports say the registration for the house took place on September 28, 2022.
Set in 10 acre, the project in the upscale South Mumbai locality “boasts fully grown gardens complete with gigantic sculptures from international artists, generous entertainment decks and spacious pools”. “With a football pitch, a walking trail, ultra-modern gym, spa and every kind of indoor & outdoor sports, the club surpasses any members club in Mumbai making it one of the best properties in South Mumbai to invest in,” the company website states.
The Parinda-fame actor paid Rs 2.4 crore as the stamp duty to register the property. Recall here that the Maharashtra government provides women homebuyers 1% waiver in stamp duty charges. This means women homebuyers in Mumbai pay 4% as stamp duty and 1% as property registration charge, Dixit included in this instance.
In March this year, Dixit along with her husband Shriram Nene, had rented a flat in the same locality on the 29th floor of an apartment, with 5,500 square foot carpet area. The monthly rent for the apartment was Rs 12.5 lakh.
