Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) will soon launch a mobile application using which you can participate in the MHADA housing lottery 2023. MHADA lottery 2023 will be held in the first quarter of 2023 for sale of homes under Mumbai, Konkan, Pune and Aurangabad boards. While the MHADA Mumbai board is selling 4,000 units, the MHADA Konkan board has put up for sale 2,046 units. The MHADA Aurangabad board is selling 800 units and the MHADA Pune board is selling 4,678 units.
“Until now, people applied for houses in a lottery draw via a website. However, with the introduction of a new dedicated mobile app, the state housing body aims to provide seamless facility to homebuyers,” an official from MHADA told Indian Express. “Homebuyers can also submit applications digitally post lottery draw is declared,” the official added.
To curb corruption, MHADA has revamped its software using which registration and application for the MHADA lottery is simple.
As per the new process, one need not register separately for the MHADA lottery offered by the different MHADA boards and a single registration is valid for all MHADA lotteries . The MHADA registration for lottery starts Thursday January 5,2023. For registration, an applicant has to share details of PAN card, Aadhaar card, Income details, Caste certificate and Domicile certificate online. Once successfully registered, the applicant will get confirmation on his eligibility/ ineligibility for the MHADA lottery. Winners of the MHADA lottery will be given a provisional delivery letter by email and a temporary disbursement letter for home loan application. They have to make payment for MHADA house in 180 days after which registration will be done and possession letter will be given.
