Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) lottery winners who have faced many problems until they get actual possession of the house will no longer face them, thanks to the state government’s newly approved proposal.
To be implemented from the next MHADA lottery, under this, winners can now get possession of the MHADA lottery house in just 15 days. After the MHADA lottery win, a winner need not fill any more forms with MHADA but has to simply register his house at the registrar’s office.
Under this proposal, only after publication of MHADA house lottery advertisement, applications will be accepted online. The MHADA application will be authorised by sending an OTP to the registered mobile number.
