Mumbai Metro Line 3, also known as the Aqua Line, is 81.3% complete. This is Mumbai’s first underground metro and will connect South Mumbai to the Western suburbs.
The 33.5 km line has 28 stations and is divided into two phases. The first phase is from Aarey to BKC and the second phase is from BKC to Cuffe Parade.
According to data tweeted by Mumbai Metro 3, as on April 30, 2023, the Aqua Line’s overall civil work completed is 92.7%, the overall systems works completed is 50.5%, overall station construction is 89.7% completed, depot works is 62% completed, mainline track works completed is 60.6% and tunneling completed is 100%.
