November 16, 2023: Under Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s orders to Cidco, the Navi Mumbai Metro will start operations from Belapur to Pendhar station from tomorrow, November 17, 2023.
On the day of inauguration, the metro will operate from 3 PM to 10 PM from the Belapur Terminal to Pendhar and back. From November 18, 2023 the Navi Mumbai Metro will start operations at 6 AM and will ply till 10 PM. The frequency of the Navi Mumbai Metro will be 15 minutes.

Navi Mumbai Metro Fare
The fare for the Navi Mumbai Metro is decided on the basis of the distance travelled. The minimum fare for the Navi Mumbai Metro is Rs 10 (0-2 km). It is Rs 15 for 2-4 km, Rs 20 for 4-6 km, Rs 25 for 6-8 km, Rs 30 for 8-10 km and Rs 40 for more than 10 km.
