Noida Authority has decided to sell 340 homes under a 2023 group housing scheme. A decision in this regards was taken in the 208th board meeting of Noida Authority on December 29, 2022. Recently, the deadline to apply for this scheme has been extended due to a lacklustre response from buyers, officials said. Here’s more information about this housing scheme and application process.

Flat Location
Under the scheme, the authority will sell 340 flats located across sectors 52, 61, 71, 73, 82, 93, 99, 118 and 135. These flats are those that were either surrendered by their owners or couldn’t be sold. These include low-income group (LIG), high-income group (HIG), and middle-income group (MIG) apartments as well as several duplex apartments.
Mode of flat allocation
While LIG flats will be sold through a lucky draw, other homes will be sold via an e-auction.
Date of application
The Noida Authority has extended the deadline of its scheme for the sale of these apartments to meet the rising demand for dwelling in the city. The revised last date of registration for MIG, HIG and Duplex residential flats is February 7, 2023, while it is February 9, 2023, to submit final bids. Similarly, the deadline to apply for the LIG flats scheme is February 21, 2023. Previously the application deadline was January 31, 2023.
Flat cost and size
LIG apartments cost between Rs 45 lakh and Rs 75 lakh, with their size ranging between 54.87 square metre (sqm) and 66.83 sqm.
The price range of MIG flats is from Rs 66 lakh to Rs 90 lakh, with sizes ranging from 74 sqm to 91 sqm. HIG apartments with an area of 153.57 sqm will cost between Rs 1.39 crore and Rs 1.74 crore. Duplex apartments, occupying an area of 180 sqm, will Rs 1.79 crore each.
