UP RERA directs promoters, agents to submit documents at Lucknow HQ

Till now promoters used to hand over documents at UP RERA’s regional office in Greater Noida.

March 4, 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) on February 29, 2024, issued a statement directing promoters to hand over all documents related to project registration, extension or editing, at its head office in Lucknow. The documents can be sent by post or handed in person. Till now promoters used to hand over documents at UP RERA’s regional office in Greater Noida.

The authority also directed agents to send their registration and extension applications to the head office. These also can be sent by post or handed over in person.

This decision has been made because documents many times are deliberately sent or handed off in the regional office that results in delayed verification and their execution that is done at head office.

Note that to ensure convenient services, eight Uttar Pradesh districts that fall in Delhi-NCR Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Shamli, Bagpat, Bulandshahar, Muzaffarnagar, Hapur, etc., are linked with the regional office in Greater Noida. The remaining districts are linked with the head office in Lucknow.
