Over 5 lakh houses under Navaratnalu-Pedalandariki Illu scheme ready in AP

A mass house warming ceremony will be held in second week of September.

August 31, 2023: Over 5,00,653 houses under the Navaratnalu-Pedalandariki Illu Scheme of the Andhra Pradesh government are ready for occupation. Ajay Jain, special chief secretary (Housing) and G Lakshmisha, managing director, Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporation(APSHCL) helped realise the target of constructing 5 lakh units.

Under the directive of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, chief minister, Andhra Pradesh, a mass house-warming ceremony will be held in the second week of September, where house keys will be distributed to the beneficiaries.

These houses have been constructed in the Chittoor district, the Vizianagaram district, the Srikakulam district and the YSR Kadapa district in Andhra Pradesh.

The Navaratnalu-Pedalandariki Illu scheme is part of the YSR Housing Scheme. The target beneficiaries for this scheme are the state residents belonging to economically weaker section, low-income group (LIG) and mid-income group (MIG) categories. A beneficiary can check the application status by visiting https://housing.ap.gov.in/SearchBeneficiaryNew.do

Enter the beneficiary ID or ration card number and proceed.
