In addition, the Navi Mumbai airport is coming up very close to Panvel. A metro line has also been proposed for the region, which will connect Vashi to Panvel, while an elevated train corridor that will connect Panvel to CST, is also being considered.
At present, Panvel only requires faster implementation of the proposed infrastructure projects. The timely completion of these projects, will provide a fillip to the realty growth in the area.
