It is a joint initiative between the PCMC and the Pimpri Chinchwad Smart City Corporation Ltd, to create an engagement platform for all its citizens and empower the residents by making them aware about the schemes, facilities and other amenities available in the region. The Sarathi PCMC is an information portal, for assisting residents and tourists. It was launched in 2013 and so far, over a million citizens have availed of its services. The system makes it easier for the citizens to reach out to the corporation and access the civic amenities without any hassles. In order to provide quality services, the PCMC Sarathi also has a complaint window for citizens, where people can submit their grievances and expect resolutions in a timely manner.
