October 26, 2023: As part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Maharashtra visit, the PM will launch the Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana.
This Yojana will benefit over 86 lakh beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra. Under this Yojana, an additional amount of Rs 6,000 per year will be provided to the farmers. This money will be transferred by the Maharashtra state government directly in the beneficiary’s account.
Thus, with this scheme, the farmers will get Rs 6,000 per year under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and Rs 6,000 per year under the Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana totalling to Rs 12, 000.
Farmer eligibility for Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana
- Resident of Maharashtra
- Should have agriculture land suitable for cultivation in their name.
- Should have Aadhaar linked bank account.
- PM-KISAN registration number.
- Registered mobile number for communication purposes.
