PMC extends property tax deadline for FY24-25 till June 15

June 3, 2024: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has extended the deadline for availing property tax rebate by 15 days. While previously the last date to avail the 10% and 5% rebate on Pune Property Tax for FY24-25 was May 31, 2024, this concession can now be taken advantage of till June 15, 2024.  

One of the important reasons cited by the civic body is that this facility is to help people who were facing technical errors and unable to avail the concession. 

While online property tax payment is advocated, the PMC in a bid to encourage more and more people to pay the Pune Property Tax on time and take benefit of the concession will also keep open the citizen facility centre open from 9 AM to 9 PM to help people who want to pay the PMC Property Tax offline. The centres will also be open on public holidays, Saturday and Sundays. 

The update bill/ arrears can be checked at the nearest ward office or online. Payment of the Pune Property Tax can be done online, bank collection centre, by cheque or by cash.

On the PMC Property Tax website at https://propertytax.punecorporation.org/,you can make payment using net banking, credit card, debit card, Bharat QR Code, UPI Google Pay, UPI PhonePe, EBPP, mobile wallet, Amazon Pay and NEFT-RTGS. For any assistance, citizens can call on helpline number 1800 1030 222. 

Note, in case of late payment, 2% penalty will be charged on arrears on 1st of each month.
