August 16, 2023: Around 31 developers have submited applications to the MahaRERA to de-register their projects. The entire list has been shared on the MahaRERA website. Anybody with objections related to de-registration have to bring it to the MahaRERA notice by writing an email on [email protected] within 30 days from August 14, 2023.
With this the total projects tally for de-registration is 138 projects.
19 projects apply for de-registration: RERA Maharashtra
June 28, 2023: The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has received applications from 19 more housing projects across Maharashtra to de-register their projects.
Any objections to the de-registration of the real estate projects are called upon to submit their objections within 15 days from June 19, 2023 to [email protected].
Earlier this month, the MahaRERA had received applications from 88 housing projects across Maharashtra to de-register their projects. With this 19, a total of 107 projects have applied for de-registration with RERA Maharashtra.
On February 10, 2023, the MahaRERA issued a notification allowing developers to de-register themselves from a real estate project if they are unable to proceed with it. The reasons for this include finances, litigations, change in government regulations, etc.
Attaching the list, the MahaRERA on June 2, 2023, called for submitting objections regarding the de-registration of any project. According to the notice, any person/legal entity having any objections to the de-registration of the real estate projects are called upon to submit their objections within 15 days from June 2, 2023. The objections can be submitted to [email protected].
