Real estate developer ReWild Retreats has launched a new riverfront project, Twilight in the Wilderness, near Kanakapura, Karnataka. The property has an area of 50 acre and offers 32 estates for sale. The preliminary development structure will comprise villas designed by Khosla Associates. It is situated between Mysore and Bangalore, and around a two-hour drive from UB city.
ReWild is backed by Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath and founding partner of Accel India, Prashanth Prakash. The project is surrounded by the river Shimsha, Ganalu Falls, Bheemeshwari Adventure Camp, and the forests of Basavanna Betta. It is situated between Mysore and Bangalore, and around a two-hour drive from UB city.
Abhilash Narahari, co-founder of ReWild said, “From terraced orchards to an on-site luxury resort and managed horticulture, security, and maintenance services, the site will be shaped to showcase a rich tapestry of textures and colours.”
Speaking about the design approach, Sandeep Khosla, founder of Khosla Associates, said, “Each villa, be it the compact elevated villas or the grand staggered villas, will be harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape of the riverfront. The material palette and the form of the built environment are an attempt to create a comfortable neutral space, connecting one to the land.”
