This promenade creates an uninterrupted pedestrian walkway of approximately 11.5km in the heart of Ahmedabad.
- Atal Bridge: The Atal bridge is a unique and iconic structure that connects the west and east parts of the Sabarmati Riverfront. Inspired by kites and the celebration of Uttrayan, the bridge showcases vibrant colors resembling kite hues. It offers pedestrians a delightful experience of walking above the river, with seating arrangements for people to enjoy the scenic beauty. The bridge is exclusively designed for walking and features green plantations.
- Riverfront Biodiversity Park: Spanning over 9 hectares, the Biodiversity Park is located near Vasna Barrage and close to Ambedkar Bridge. It serves as an alternative habitat for migratory and resident bird species. The park boasts more than 5,000 trees, including endangered species, providing citizens with a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle.
