November 15, 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Housing Board (UPHB) has announced a 35% rebate on 5,000 flats for homebuyers in Ghaziabad, according to media reports. The move aims to attract prospective buyers and offer affordable housing solutions. With the growing demand for affordable housing in the area, the rebate allows investment opportunities for those looking for investment or buying their dream home.
The UP Housing Board is offering the rebate in its latest housing scheme, offering 5,000 flats in Siddharth Vihar, Vasundhara and Mandola. Online registrations for the flats started on November 12, 2023.
UP Housing Board scheme details
The scheme offers 700 flats in Siddharth Vihar, 4,000 flats in Mandola and 20 flats in Vasundhara. The price for a 1BHK flat is Rs 69.45 lakh, while it is Rs 87 lakh for 2BHK. The price for a 3BHK apartment is Rs 1.15 crore.
According to a TOI report, in Siddharth Vihar, there are 1,292 flats in Ganga, Yamuna and Hindon schemes, of which 700 units are yet to be sold. In Mandola, 4,000 out of 7,500 flats are yet to be sold, and in Vasundhara, 20 flats are remaining. In December 2022, the housing board offered homebuyers a 20% discount on its flats, but it garnered a lukewarm response. This year, the UP housing board plans to attract more buyers by organising awareness campaigns.

- Visit the official website of UP Awas Vikas https://upavp.in/
- Click on ‘vacant property details’ under ‘Online Services’
- Select the city from the dropdown.
- On the next page, choose the scheme and flat type.
- Click on the ‘Search’ button. The flat details will be displayed on the screen.
