Another related service you can avail online is applying for a new water connection. This can be done through the Government of Odisha’s Go Swift portal. Here are the steps:

Visit the portal and login

Open the Go Swift portal on your browser and register by filling the required details. After registering, you can login using your credentials. Go to ‘Services’ -> ‘Obtaining water connection.’

Fill the form

You will be redirected to a form wherein you will have to fill your details. Further, you will also have to upload scanned copies of some documents as specified on the form. After filling out all the fields, click on ‘Submit.’

Make the payment

Once you submit the form, the payable amount will be displayed on the screen. Click on ‘Pay Now’ and select the suitable payment method. You can pay online using debit/credit card, net banking or UPI or even opt to pay over the counter at your nearest water supply board office.
