Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal buys 2 land parcels in Delhi for around Rs 79 cr

Goyal has invested in around 5 acre of land.

February 5, 2024: Indian multinational restaurant aggregator and food delivery company Zomato’s CEO Deepinder Goyal has bought two land parcels for Rs 79 crore in New Delhi.

According to CRE Matrix, the first transaction was registered in March 2023 where Goyal paid around Rs 29 crore for 2.5 acre of land. The second transaction was registered in September, 2023 where Goyal paid around Rs 50 crore for 2.53 acre of land, mentioned documents accessed by CRE Matrix.

Areas in and around the Delhi-NCR region and Gurgaon  are seeing increasing investment activities from entrepreneurs. Last year, EaseMyTrip co-founder Rikant Pittie bought a Rs 99.34 cr Gurgaon property. Also, Lenskart founder Peyush Bansal bought a house worth Rs 18 cr in Delhi last year.
