22 promoters seek de-registration: MahaRERA

Objections can be submitted to within 30 days from January 15.

January 23, 2024: The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has got applications from 22 promoters across Maharashtra to de-register their projects. This is under the MahaRERA notification that allows developers to de-register themselves from a real estate project if they cannot proceed with it. Changes in government regulations, problems related to finances and litigations etc. are cited as reasons for the promoters approaching de-registration.

Attaching the list, the MahaRERA on January 15 called for submitting objections regarding the de-registration of any project that these 22 developers are developing. According to the notice, any person/legal entity having any objections to the de-registration of the real estate projects are called upon to submit their objections within 30 days from January 15, 2024. The objections can be submitted to [email protected].
