Parwez said a detailed project report (DPR) was being prepared for the Bangalore Metro Phase 3A (Sarjapur to Hebbal) proposed in the state Budget. Phase 3 (JP Nagar to Kempapura and Hosahalli to Kadabgere) has been submitted to the government for approval, and clarifications have been sought.
Shivakumar also shared the deadline for the various metro lines. The Bangalore Metro Airport Line, from Central Silk Board to KR Puram and KR Puram to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), will be commissioned by June 2026.
