June 12, 2023: The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has started the allotment process of houses in its residential project, Daya Enclave, at K9 B Bhagabanpur on the city’s outskirts, according to a TOI report.
Under this housing project, the BDA is offering 128 units of 2BHK apartments for the middle-income group. The authority has asked prospective buyers to visit its official portal https://www.bda.gov.in/ and register to participate in the lottery system for the allotment of houses.
According to the procedure defined by the BDA, applicants must register at the link provided on their website by mentioning all their details such as name, family details, income, whether they have any property in the BDA or the municipal corporation area, etc.
Those interested in purchasing a housing unit must pay a security deposit of Rs two lakh and the remaining amount in two different instalments. The authority offers two types of apartments in this project, with a set price of Rs 51.6 lakh and Rs 49.6 lakh, respectively. According to the brochure provided by the BDA, the project comprises four residential blocks with 128 units of 2-BHK apartments and other amenities such as a community hall, parking facilities, a garden, a play area, power backup facility, etc.
According to BDA vice chairman Balwant Singh, the online registration for the allotment of houses in the project will continue till July 7, 2023. He said the authority would look at the buyers’ response and allot the housing units based on the defined rules.
