- On the MCGM online portal: This is applicable for old cases where the name has to be changed in property tax records. The new name will reflect in the system after three working days of applying for a name change.

- Login to the MCGM portal at https://www.mcgm.gov.in/irj/portal/anonymous.
- Under ‘Citizen Services’, click on ‘Property Tax’.
- You will see a timeline for the change in name on property tax.

- Under ‘CVS login’, select ‘Citizen login’. Enter all the required details and log in. If you are not registered on the MCGM portal, click on ‘KYC non reg user’ and fill in the KYC details before proceeding.

- Pay the fees and submit the form.
