April 4, 2025: The Chhattisgarh government has released the second instalment of under its Mahtari Vandan Yojana, a women welfare scheme under which the state government provides annual subsidy of Rs 12,000 to eligible candidates.
While making this announcement on social media site X on April 3, 2024, Chhattisgarh chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai said eligible beneficiaries under the scheme will receive the monthly instalment of Rs 1,000 in the first week of every month.

Recall here that Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 10, 2024, launched the Mahatari Vandana Yojana 2024 in Chhattisgarh, and disbursed Rs 655 crore as the first instalment under the scheme. Under the Mahatari Vandana Yojana, beneficiaries will receive Rs 1,000 every month in their accounts.
All married, widowed, divorcee and abandoned women are eligible to get the benefit under the Mahtari Vandan Scheme 2024 if they meet the following criteria:
- They are the permanent resident of the state of Chhattisgarh.
- They are 21 years of age as on January 1, 2024.
How to check Mahatari Vandana Yojana beneficiary list?
Step 1: On the home page, you will find the option “Antim Suchi”. Click on it.
Step 2: Select district, area, block, sector, village/ward, Anganwadi to view list of beneficiaries.
Step 3: The final list of Mahatari Vandana Yojana beneficiaries will appear on your screen.
You can also check this offline at your nearest anganwadi, ward office or gram panchayat.
