Gr Noida to become education hub, UP govt announces plot scheme

The rate allotment per sqm for plot of 1.21 lakh sqm in Sector 17A, Greater Noida is fixed at Rs 9,141.

October 3, 2023: In a move that will transform Greater Noida into an educational hub, the Uttar Pradesh government has introduced a new scheme offering vacant plots, according to media reports. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) has invited applications for the sale of plots in Sectors 17A and 22E across five categories. Applications are open till October 27, 2023.

As mentioned in media reports, the premium of plots has been fixed between Rs 111 crore and Rs 174 crore, with a processing fee of Rs 5,000, plus GST charges.

Vacant plots scheme details

Yeida has put up details regarding the plot scheme, including the area, sector, per square metre rate of allotment and total premium. Reports cited an official stating that the rate allotment per square metre (sqm) for plot number 11 of 1.21 lakh sqm in Sector 17A of Greater Noida has been fixed at Rs 9,141. The total premium on this has been fixed at Rs 111.27 crore, which is the lowest, whereas the total premium of two plots of 2.05 lakh sqm is Rs 174.38 crore per plot. Similarly, the total premium amount for two plots of 1.05 lakh sqm has been fixed at Rs 128.13 crore per plot.

Furthermore, Yeida has tied up with the Bank of Baroda which will be the banking partner in the project to handle the application and banking operations.

 

Yeida launches new scheme to sell vacant plots under data centre project

The Yamuna authority has launched a new scheme offering vacant plots under its data centre project in Greater Noida. It has invited applications for five categories of plots in Sector 28 through the Nivesh Mitra portal. The process, which started on September 27, 2023, the premium of plots has been fixed, ranging from Rs 28.17 crore to Rs 176 crore, while the registration fee of plots has been fixed based on different categories, between Rs 2.81 crore and Rs 17.67 crore.

 

How to apply for Yeida plots scheme?

To apply for the Yeida plots scheme, visit the official website www.yamunaexpresswayauthority.com to download the brochure and application form. One must submit the duly filled form, processing fee and registration money online.

The registration money for plot allotment is an adjustable/ refundable amount equal to 10% of total premium of the plot for which the application is being submitted. This amount should be paid the official website or RTGS/NEFT by generating challan on or before the closing date.
