Greater Noida Authority to e-auction 13 plots for data centres

The authority expects this land allotment scheme to generate a revenue of Rs 1,000 crore.

June 14, 2023: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) on June 13, 2023, announced the launch of a land allotment scheme for data centres. The authority expects investments of Rs 20,000 crore, which will create 10,000 jobs in the region. In a statement, the authority said that it would earn a revenue of Rs 1,000 crore against the allotment of 13 land parcels under the new scheme. 

 

“Of the 13 plots for data centres, two plots are located in Sector Knowledge Park-5, and the remaining 11 plots are located in Sector Techzone. These plots range from 4,047 sqm to 1.07 lakh sqm in area,” said GNIDA. 

 

The allotment of land parcels will be done through an e-auction. Registrations will stay open till July 4, 2023, and the last date for submitting the processing fee is July 6, 2023. Interested parties can submit their documents by the deadline of July 8, 2023. The brochure containing all the details of the scheme has been uploaded on the website of the GNIDA and the web portal of State Bank of India (SBI). Online applications can be made through the SBI web portal.
