TS Scholarship: What is it?

Telangana state residents can use the TS ePass Scholarship portal to apply for corporate admissions, overseas scholarship services, pre- and post-high school scholarships, Shadi Mubarak, Kalyan Lakshmi, and skill upgradation programmes.

The main goal of these scholarship programs is to provide financial aid to students so they can continue their education. The programs are targeted at Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Minority, and Backward Class students.

The Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) is a government scholarship scheme for students belonging to certain categories, such as SC, ST, OBC, etc., who are pursuing post-matriculation or post-secondary courses. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to students to continue their studies.

The scholarship amount is disbursed directly to the student’s bank account and can be used for expenses such as tuition fees, course fees, hostel fees, etc. The Telangana government has been successful in processing and funding over 90 lakh student applications under 14 different programmes in the past few years. The application process for students is simple, with openness and responsibility in the awarding of scholarships.
