The government might announce the 14th instalment of the PM Kisan scheme in June 2023. However, farmers eligible to receive the Rs 6,000 annual subsidy in three equal instalments under the Central government’s PM Kisan scheme must register themselves either online or offline to receive this benefit.

PM Kisan registration online
Step 1: Go to the official PM Kisan website. Simply copy and paste the following link in your browser:
Step 2: Scroll down and you will find the section titled Farmers Corner. In this section, you will see New Farmer Registration option. Click on it.
Step 3: On the next page, a registration form will appear. Choose a language you are comfortable with first. You have the option to choose from the following 9 languages:
- Assamese
- Gujarati
- Hindi
- English
- Kannada
- Malayalam
- Marathi
- Telugu
- Tamil
In this example, we are choosing English.
Step 4: Choose one from Rural Farmer or Urban Farmer.
Step 5: Enter your Aadhaar number.
Step 6: Enter your Mobile number.
Step 7: Select your state from the list.
Step 8: Enter Captcha as shown.
Step 9: Click on Get OTP.
Step 10: Once the OTP-based verification is complete, a new form will open, asking for more details.
Step 11: Once all the details are provided, click on the Save option.
Step 12: You details will now be verified by a nodal officer after which your name will be added in the PM Kisan beneficiary list.

PM Kisan registration offline
For offline registration of the PM Kisan scheme, visit the nearest common service centers (CSCs). Keep all the details and documents needed for PM Kisan registration handy. Just like the online application, the nodal officer will verify the details before adding your name in the PM Kisan beneficiary list.

UP to hold more camps to help farmers get PM Kisan 14th instalment
June 21, 2023: Uttar Pradesh has decided to conduct camps at government-run agriculture seed stores in each development block from June 24, 2023, to help eligible farmers receive Central subsidy under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. “The aim of these camps is to address every problem of the farmers and to ensure that the 14th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is credited to the accounts of all eligible farmers. In this sequence, camps were organised in each gram panchayat of the district from May 22 to June 10. Similarly, camp sessions are being conducted at all tehsil headquarters in the state from June 12 to June 23,” a government spokesman told media on June 20.

MP to provide PM Kisan beneficiaries an additional Rs 6,000 a year: CM
June 16, 2023: The financial assistance provided to farmers under the PM Kisan scheme will be increased by Rs 2,000 in Madhya Pradesh, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on June 13. “Prime minister Narendra Modi is already giving Rs 6,000 to the farmers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. We had earlier decided to add Rs 4,000, which is being increased to Rs 6,000,” Chouhan said, adding that farmers in the state will now get Rs 1,000 per month.
Ensure 100% disposal of PM Kisan applications: UP chief secretary
June 2, 2023: Uttar Pradesh chief secretary Durga Shankar Mishra on June 1 told the district magistrates to ensure 100% disposal of applications to saturate all eligible beneficiaries with the PM Kisan scheme. He also directed the officials to take strict action against the lax staff. The Uttar Pradesh government is running a two-week drive to help farmers comply with pre-requisites to receive the PM Kisan subsidy ahead of the release of the 14th instalment.

What is the eligibility to register for the PM Kisan scheme?
In the beginning when the PM Kisan Scheme was launched on February 24, 2019, its benefits were admissible only to small and marginal farmer families, with combined landholding of up to two hectare. The scheme was later on revised with effect from June 1, 2019, and extended to all farmer families irrespective of the size of their landholdings. Now, all landholder farmer families in India are eligible for the PM Kisan scheme, except those covered under the following exclusion criteria: (I) All institutional land holders (II) Farmer families in which one or more of its members belong to following categories: (i) Former and present holders of constitutional posts (ii) Former and present ministers/ state ministers and former/present members of Lok Sabha/ Rajya Sabha/ State Legislative Assemblies/ State Legislative Councils,former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former and present chairpersons of district panchayats. (iii) All serving or retired officers and employees of Central/ State Government Ministries /Offices/Departments and its field units Central or State PSEs and Attached offices /Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies (Excluding Multi-Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees) (iv) All superannuated/retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs.10,000/-or more (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees) (v) All Persons who paid Income Tax in last assessment year. (vi) Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with Professional bodies and carrying out profession by undertaking practices.
What is the validity of PM Kisan beneficiary list?
The list of beneficiaries identified by states/UTs is valid for one year. However, states/UTs can upload names of eligible beneficiaries identified subsequently. They should also implement a mechanism to ensure revision of the name of the beneficiary in case of mutation/changes in the land records.
