The Nagpur-Goa Shaktipeeth Expressway, also known as the Shaktipeeth Expressway, is an upcoming 760-kilometre, six-lane expressway that will connect Nagpur (Maharashtra) to Goa. The Maharashtra government, in February 2024, approved the construction of the Nagpur-Goa Shaktipeeth Expressway, which will improve connectivity in the region. The expressway, named after the three Shaktipeeths it will pass through (Mahalaxmi, Tuljabhavani and Patradevi), will be the longest expressway in Maharashtra.
The Nagpur-Goa Shaktipeeth Expressway, which was approved by the Maharashtra government in March, is expected to be operational by 2028-29, according to a News 18 report.
The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has completed the land survey work for the upcoming Shaktipeeth Expressway, joint managing director, Kailash Jadhav, said as cited in media reports. The process of land acquisition and compensation will commence soon, he said.
The expressway will pass through 12 districts while connecting Nagpur and Goa. Once completed, the Nagpur-Goa Shaktipeeth Expressway is expected to reduce travel time between Nagpur and Goa from 21 hours to 11 hours, according to the MSRDC. The expressway is expected to be operational by 2028-29, according to media reports.

Nagpur-Goa Shaktipeeth Expressway: Route
The Nagpur-Goa Shaktipeeth Expressway will pass through 11 districts in Maharashtra and one district in North Goa. It will link other major expressways and national highways, boosting connectivity in the region.
