Naiknavare Developers promote tech-assisted senior living project in Pune

Developed in partnership with Primus, the smart home senior living project is spread across 16 acre.

Real estate development firm Naiknavare Developers is promoting 60 new ready-to-move smart home senior living units. Developed in partnership with Primus, the project named Kutumb will entail a mix of 2- and 3-BHK apartments, independent duplex houses and townhouses. Situated in Talegaon, an up-and-coming residential hub in Pune, the smart home senior living project is spread across 16 acre.

Naiknavare Developers has equipped the project with intelligent senior-friendly features, such as a smart lock, smart gas detector, video door phone, smart door sensors and smart switches to operate fans, ACs and lights– all of which can be controlled using Alexa or through voice commands. The project also has a broad gamut of healthcare, leisure, housekeeping and entertainment services. This comprises 24-hour medical treatment, physiotherapy on call, ambulance services, a life enrichment centre, movie screening, doorstep delivery of essential items, assistance with banking and post office-related tasks, access to a plumber and electrician, housekeeping staff and in-house chefs. The project also offers round-the-clock security, CCTV in common areas, emergency alarm systems, centralised emergency control station, stretcher-compatible elevators, swimming pool, clubhouse, indoor and outdoor game spaces and lush-green gardens.

Anand Naiknavare, head of Business Processes, Naiknavare Developers, said, “With over 60 units split in four different residential layouts, the project caters to a broad spectrum of lifestyle needs of senior members. The decision to launch the country’s first senior living project and another phase to our existing portfolio stemmed from witnessing increased customer demands, heavy footfall at the community site and a potential for growth in this category of residential developments. While there are plenty of assisted living facilities in and around Pune, what gives us an edge over others is that we have equipped our project with smart and intelligent features to make the lives of senior homeowners convenient and give them the gift of a virtual companion.”

Santosh Naik, MD and CEO, Disha Direct Marketing Services, said, “The senior care category in India has evolved drastically in recent few years. Experienced players like Naiknavare Developers, along with Primus, have rightfully identified the gaps in this space and launched projects in accordance with the needs of takers. Assisting them with positioning these projects in the right manner, at the right time, and to the right audience has been a thrilling yet fun-filled experience.”
