Union labour and employment minister Bhupender Yadav on March 28, 2023, launched an e-passbook facility for the EPFO subscribers. Now, EPFO members will be able to view more details of on their EPF passbook, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) said in a statement. “The e-passbook will enable the members to view more details of their accounts in graphical representations,” the pension fund body said in the statement.
After accessing their EPF e-passbook using their UAN and password, EPF members will be able to view every details related to their PF account explained using simple graphics.
Among the details that can be accessed through the new EPF E-passbook include their UAN, their PF member ID/s, total PF balance, adjustments, employee contribution, employer contribution, interest, transfer ins, total PF withdrawal, date for which the last contribution was made, etc.
Meanwhile, the EPFO has fixed 8.15% interest on PF accumulations for the financial year 2022-23 (FY23). This is 15 basis points higher than the interest offered during FY22.
