Noida Metro creates single-day ridership record of 56,168 passengers

The average monthly ridership on the Aqua metro line was 41,757 up to January 16, 2023, as per the NMRC.

The Noida-Greater Noida Metro recorded an all-time high, single-day ridership of 56,168 passengers on January 16, 2023, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) said in an official statement. The 29.7-km Noida Metro route, also known as the Aqua Line, became operational in January 2019. It comprises 25 metro stations and provides connectivity between Noida and Greater Noida.

As per an official, the aqua line recorded a single-day highest ridership of 52,696 passengers on November 30, 2022. Earlier, the record set by Noida Metro was 50,231 on October 17, 48,852 on October 14 and 48,396 on September 26 in 2022.

As per the NMRC, the average monthly ridership on the Aqua metro line was 41,757 up to January 16, 2023. The monthly ridership was 41,496 in December 2022, 43,430 in November 2022and 35,300 in October 2022.
