The Odisha state government on January 16, 2023, published a provisional list of beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) for sanction of 8.17 lakh normal houses and 1.42 lakh special houses for districts affected by cyclone Fani.
SK Lohani, principal secretary, Panchayati Raj, mentioned to the media that the provisional list of beneficiaries will be displayed at GP offices, schools, AWCs and other important places of the village from January 16 to 24, 2023. In case of any discrepancy, an objection petition can be filed, on the basis of which an enquiry will be held and necessary action taken.
One can file the complaints online by visiting https://www.rhodisha.gov.in and clicking on “Abhijog Dakhal”. Also, toll-free numbers 18003456770 or 155335 can be called. Alternatively, complaints can be filled in the objection application form and submitted at the complaint box in the gram panchayat or block office concerned.
It is mandatory for a person registering the complaint to provide all details like mobile number, name, block name, village name and GP name. Note that January 24, 2023 is the last date for submitting the complaint.
The final beneficiary list will be then sent to the gram sabha for approval. Once agreed upon, the government will issue work orders for eligible beneficiaries for construction of houses.
