March 15, 2024: A bungalow near Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow Jalsa in Mumbai’s Juhu is set to be auctioned, according to a public notice by Deutsche Bank as per media reports. Deutsche Bank will conduct the auction under the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act (SARFAESI) Act of 2002.
The size of the property, which is located near Juhu beach in JVPD Kapole Society in Ville Parle West is around 3,339 square foot (sqft). The reserve price for the prime property is Rs 25 crore. The auction is scheduled to take place on March 27, as per the notice. The carpet area of the bungalow measures 1,164 sqft, along with an open space of 2,175 sqft.
As per reports, Deutsche Bank had taken over the property after borrowers and co-borrowers Seven Star Satellite Pvt Ltd, along with others, failed to repay the outstanding amount of Rs 12.89 crore within 60 days, according to a public notice accessed by Hecta, a platform that connects buyers to distressed properties put up for auction by banks.
Juhu is an upscale neighbourhood in Mumbai, which is home to many celebrities such as Akshay Kumar, Kartik Aryan, Sonakshi Sinha, Esha Deol and Vidya Balan.
