Roha Realty signs Mhada deal to redevelop 2 societies at Chembur

Construction work to combine two societies into one is expected to begin during Navratri 2023.

August 23, 2023:  Real estate developer Roha Realty has signed a deal with the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (Mhada) to redevelop two societies in Subhas Nagar, Chembur.

The new property will incorporate contemporary apartments, amenities and sustainable measures ranging from energy-efficient construction and maintenance to resource conservation and a low carbon impact.

Roha Realty will fund the redevelopment project through internal accruals and institutional finance. The construction work to combine both societies into one is expected to begin during Navratri this year. Both projects’ architectural and design features have been finalised.

Harshvardhan Tibrewala, director, Roha Realty, said, “Chembur’s transition into a thriving commercial and residential location is an excellent example of sustainable urban revitalisation, and our two planned projects will set new standards for quality development in the area.”
