The actor on April 14, 2025 received a death threat on WhatsApp sent to the Worli Transport Department. According to media reports, the threatening message warned to kill the actor in his house and blow up his car. A complaint has been registered against an unidentified person at the Worli Police Station. The police have arrested a 25-year-old boy from Gujarat- Mayank Pandya and investigations are underway. According to the story, Salim Khan had come to Mumbai to become an actor and was staying on rent in a guest house in Mahim. The room had two beds with a rent of Rs 55 per bed. Since his roommate snored and never allowed Salim Khan to sleep, he took it upon himself to earn money and buy a house. After his marriage to Sushila Charak (now Salma Khan) he bought a house in Galaxy Apartments. Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Alvira Khan were all born in Galaxy Apartments. Salman Khan bought another floor where he stays while his brothers Sohail and Arbaaz moved out of Galaxy Apartments but stay close by.

Did you know that Salman Khan was offered to buy Mannat at the beginning of his career even before Shah Rukh Khan bought it? In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan mentioned that his father Salim Khan stopped him from buying such a big house, stating that they didn’t have such a requirement.

Salman Khan to develop 19-storey hotel in Bandra
Actor Salman Khan’s family has plans to develop a 19-storey hotel at Carter Road, Bandra, Mumbai mentioned a TOI report. The BMC has approved plans for the construction of the hotel. The plot is owned by the actor’s mother, Salma Khan. Previously, there were plans to redevelop the plot into a residential building. However, then a revised plan was sent to BMC where permission for commercial property construction was sought.
As per the plan submitted by architect Sapre & Associates, it will be centrally air-conditioned commercial building with a height of 69.90 m.
The first floor, second floor and the third floor of the hotel will have a cafe, restaurant and gym and swimming pool respectively. The fourth floor will be a service floor. The fifth and sixth floors will have convention centers. Floors seventh to nineteenth floors will be used for the hotel. It will also have a three level basement.

Salman Khan’s flat on 14th floor of Shiv Asthan Heights Bandra was sold for over Rs 5.35 crore, mention media reports. The buyer paid a registration fee of Rs 30,000 for this deal and a stamp duty of more than Rs 32 lakh.
