Trial run for Navi Mumbai Metro’s Central Park-Belapur stretch completed

After the successful trial run of Navi Mumbai Metro Line -1 from Pendhar to Central Park two weeks back, CIDCO completed a successful trial run of Metro line from Central Park to Belapur on December 30, 2022.

The Navi Mumbai metro rail Line-1 carried trial operations from Central Park (station 7) to Belapur (station 1) on December 30, 2022. With the trial of the 5.96-km stretch, the Rs 3,400 crore Navi Mumbai project will soon start operations.

The Navi Mumbai Metro Line -1 is divided into 2 phases: phase-1 from Pendhar to Central Park and phase-2 from Central Park to Belapur. Phase-1 has already received an approval from the Railway Board. On December 9, CIDCO successfully completed the trial run between Central Park and Utsav Chowk stations.

Station names:  CBD Belapur, Sector 7, CIDCO Science Park, Utsav Chowk, Sector 11, Sector 14, Central Park, Pethpada, Sector 34, Panchanand and Pendhar
