Yeida launches new housing scheme for 462 flats

It is an open-ended scheme. The EMD amount has been fixed at Rs 4.23 lakh.

August 6, 2023: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) launched a housing scheme on August 2, 2023, offering 462 multi-storey flats on a first-come, first-served (FCFS) basis. The flats are located along the Yamuna Expressway, in Sector 22D and their prices range between Rs 42 lakh and Rs 43 lakh. The authority aims to generate around Rs 194 crore in revenue through the sale of these flats.

The housing scheme received around 3,089 applications and 650 people paid the registration fees of Rs 4.23 lakh in 24 hours of its launch, according to a Navbharat Times report.

 

Yeida housing scheme details

According to an official, only 2BHK Prime BHS flats are offered under this housing scheme and are free from all encumbrances. The height of each tower will be stilt-plus-16 floors.

The flats under the housing scheme are in proximity to the Buddha International Circuit Formula One racetrack, Eastern Peripheral Expressway, the proposed Film City and the upcoming Noida International Airport.

According to the official brochure, the housing units have a size of 1,074.88 square foot (sqft). The registration amount or earnest money deposit (EMD) amount has been fixed at Rs 4.23 lakh.

 

How to apply for flats under Yeida housing scheme?

The registration for the housing scheme started on August 2, 2023. According to Yeida, it is an open-ended scheme and there will be no fixed last date for application. These flats are ready for possession and their allotment will be made through lucky draw on a first-come, first-served basis.

They must download the application form and brochure and pay a fee of Rs 500, excluding GST. Bank of Baroda is the banking partner for the scheme and will provide a loan facility for the EMD and housing finance, according to officials.
