August 29, 2023: Popular actress Kajol recently bought an office space in Mumbai for Rs 7.64 crore, Money Control reported, citing documents accessed by Propstack. Spread across 194.67 square metre (sqm) carpet area , the office space is located within Signature Building, Oshiwara, along the Veera Desai Road at Mumbai’s Andheri West.
The space was purchased from Vir Savarkar Projects, and the agreement was signed on July 28.
In July 2023, Kajol’s husband, actor Ajay Devgn, had also purchased five office units located in the same building as the office space bought by Kajol. With a total area of 13,293 sqft, these five office units cost Ajay Rs 45.09 crore. With a built-up area of 8,405 sqft, the three units located on the 16th floor were worth Rs 30.35 crore and the stamp duty paid was Rs 1.82 crore. With a built-up area of 4,893 sqft, the remaining two units on the 17th floor cost Rs 14.74 crore, on which the stamp duty of Rs 88.44 lakh was paid.
In April this year, Kajol had also bought an apartment in Mumbai’s Andheri for Rs 16.5 crore. The apartment has a carpet area of 2,493 sqft and features four reserved car parking spots. The sale deed was registered on April 13, 2023, and the seller was Bharat Realty Ventures.
Kajol was last seen in Lust Stories 2 on Netflix and The Trial on Disney+ Hotstar. Next, she’ll be starring alongside Kriti Sanon in Do Patti produced by Kathha Pictures, co-produced by Kriti Sanon and written by Kanika Dhillon. The film will stream exclusively on the OTT platform Netflix India.
