Alia Bhatt house in Juhu

Alia Bhatt is one of Bollywood’s most gifted and successful actresses today. Before her marriage, the Raazi star lives in Mumbai’s Juhu area with her sister Shaheen. While Shaheen alternates between living with her sister and her parents, Alia’s first home was purchased with her resources.

The 27-year-old actress acquired this Juhu house in 2017 and has subsequently purchased two more flats in the same neighbourhood. One of the homes was bought in January 2019 for a reported 13.11 crore. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt’s new house isn’t luxurious like her lifestyle, but it is eccentric, much like her personality. Alia said in a YouTube video that it took her two years to create her flat piece by piece to make it appear the way it does now.

Richa Bahl, an interior designer, helped transform the Juhu pad into a New York-style loft apartment. While Alia was filming Shandaar, the two met. The actor was thrilled with Richa’s efforts at the Phantom office. Alia didn’t offer Richa a specific brief, but the only need she had was that her flat not be too fancy or modern. Richa initially entered Alia Bhatt new house that was  infested with termites and decaying pipes. And now it’s been given an incredible makeover.

Alia Bhatt house: Living space

Alia Bhatt house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Shaheen procured most of the décor online and installed it over a year and a half. The teal blue double doors are the first thing that catches one’s eye at Alia Bhatt’s home. A custom-made bench is also located at the entryway. The theme for the entire house is white, beginning with the living room, where the walls and couch are all pure white. The couch, adorned with odd pillows, is positioned against a shelf that houses books, plants, and many other trinkets. The concrete-tiled floors give the living room character. A vast chandelier also shines brightly in the room.

Alia’s home has been reconfigured to three bedrooms. Also, the dressing room is designed as a separate space, so that the rest of the house is private. There is a large lobby that separates this space from the living room, which has a cosy mix of modern décor akin to a New York loft and a Swiss chalet. White walls, comfortable sofas and tiled floors, with huge wall-size windows overlooking Mumbai’s tropical trees, are some of the highlights of Bhatt’s home.

Another room serves as Alia Bhatt’s in-house dressing room, where everything from trials to hair and make-up is done. While the white theme continues, mirrored walls take centre stage in the dressing area. Multi-coloured flooring gives a lot of character to the room.

Alia Bhatt house: Bedroom

The large bed with white and gold frames is the focal point of this room, which adheres to the all-white theme. The room also features adjustable lighting, allowing the Gully Boy actress to read scripts comfortably even in her bedroom. Thanks to a bright blue side table and quirky pillows, this area is even a favourite of Alia Bhatt’s three cats.

Alia Bhatt house: Kitchen and dining

Alia Bhatt’s house has a modular kitchen. The kitchen’s white walls contrast with lime green cabinetry and trippy-tiled floor. The dining room, on the other hand, is spacious and bright. The table is made of rustic wood, while the six-person seating consists of various seats. It appears to be something out of a Swiss chalet. Her dining area also has a dedicated tea bar, as Shaheen and Alia are both tea connoisseurs.

The house has calmer tones and soothing lights, with muted lighting. There is a tea bar which is unique. Since both the sisters are tea connoisseurs, this is their favourite place in the home.
